Festival Focus - Kingston Maurward College Equestrian

The festival at Kingston Maurward College Equestrian (1 – 3 June) was the last opportunity for riders to secure their place the Petplan Equine Area Winter Championship at the end of the month. Everyone pulled out all the stops to put their best tests forward and show the judges they deserve the last places at the Championships.  

Festival Focus - The Cabin

The festival at The Cabin, Scotland (29 – 30 May) was the last opportunity for riders to secure their place the Petplan Equine Area Winter Championship at the end of the month. Everyone pulled out all the stops to put their best tests forward and show the judges they deserve the last places at the Championships. 

Festival Focus - Aintree International

The third to last festival at Aintree International (27 – 30 May) was the centerpiece for some large classes and exciting results to gain qualification for the Petplan Equine Winter Area Festival Championships in a few weeks. Tight scoring and almost perfect tests made it a competitive weekend in the North. 

Festival Focus - Beacons Equestrian

The second of the welsh festivals in May, Beacons Equestrian (22 – 24 May) meant it was the last opportunity for qualified riders to gain a place at the Petplan Equine Winter Area Festival Championships in a few weeks. A few ‘famous’ names were in attendance… 

Festival Focus - Solihull Equestrian

The next qualifier at Solihull was one of four events happening on that weekend in May (14 – 18 May), which saw the latest group of qualified riders gain tickets to take their place at the Petplan Equine Winter Area Festival Championships in a few weeks. Including some marvelous scores, new combinations and personal bests! 

Festival Focus - Morris Equestrian

Morris Equestrian (15 – 16 May) was the fifth to last festival to happen before the Petplan Equine Winter Area Festival Championships in a few weeks. The Scottish riders pulled out all the stops, in the first of the regional's festivals, to get one of the fourteen first place sashes, which secures them a place at Hartpury.  

Festival Focus - Speedgate Events Equestrian

Speedgate Events Equestrian (13 – 16 May) was the start of a very busy weekend for Area Festivals across the country; with riders wanting to secure their place the Petplan Equine Area Winter Championship at the end June. The South East venue proved to be a very competitive across all the levels with riders wanting to secure their first-place sash.  

Festival Focus - Prestige Equestrian

The sixth fixture in a flurry of Festivals in May saw the latest group of qualified riders gain their tickets to contest the Petplan Equine Winter Area Festival Championships next month, with the competition at Prestige Equestrian (13 – 15 May) producing some standout results, familiar faces and fabulous winners.  

Festival Focus - Northallerton Equestrian

A busy weekend for area festivals, Northallerton Equestrian (7 - 10 May) was the second of the three events to run for qualified riders to gain their place at the Petplan Equine Area Winter Championship at the end of the June. With some very large classes and high scoring combinations it was all down to the judges final comments on who would win the first place sash.  

 

Festival Focus: Parwood Equestrian

Parwood Equestrian (6- 9 May) was the second chance for riders to gain their place at the Petplan Equine Area Winter Championship at the end of the June. The South East venue proved popular for many qualified riders with some large classes across the levels.   

Festival Focus - Vale View Equestrian

The last festival, in a busy area festivals weekend, at Vale View Equestrian (7 - 9 May) saw just under half the winners achieve scores over 70%. With top competition happening to secure their place at the Petplan Equine Area Winter Championship at the end of the June.  

Festival Focus - Keysoe International

The first festival of the year at Keysoe (30 April – 2 May) was the start of an amazing season of dressage, all competing for places at the Petplan Equine Area Winter Championship at the end of the June. This is the chance for qualified riders to showcase their best tests and win over the judges to secure a first-place sash, their ticket to the Championships.
