As a result of competitions to date, the British Dressage U21 Selectors, Nikki Herbert, Leanne Wall and Richard Baldwin, are delighted to release their long lists of riders in contention for a place at the FEI Children on Horses/Pony/Junior/Young Rider European Championships 2022.

Keysoe International’s three days of Under-21 classes (13 - 20 March) saw young combinations shine with high scores and plenty of personal bests across the well supported classes.

With everything from Connemaras to Cleveland Bays, cobs to racers and key workers to veterans, there’s something for everyone at British Dressage’s Associated Championships. With 13 championships on offer, the series shows that dressage really is for anyone, any equine and the very best come in all ages, shapes and sizes. Since their launch in 2017, the championships have gone from strength to strength and we’re excited to add a new category for 2022, side saddle!

Charlotte Dujardin and Imhotep got their grand prix career off to a great start at Myerscough Premier League Show (08 - 13 March 2022) and Becky Moody produced three winning tests.

Keysoe proved to be a great start to the 2022 international season, with personal best scores for British Paralympians Sophie Wells and Georgia Wilson and British-based Canadian team member Roberta Sheffield.

Just over a week after launching, the team behind British Equestrians for Ukraine can report a successful start thanks to an overwhelming response from the equine community to help those displaced by the Russian invasion. The public fund set up via World Horse Welfare is currently running at over £100,000 in donations while the co-ordinated efforts of the British Equestrian Trade Association (BETA) have collected feed and bedding worth around £90,000 - about nine lorry loads - which is on route to Poland.

Some exciting combinations scoring in the mid-70s laid down a strong challenge for success at the NAF Five Star Winter Championships. Organisers had moved quickly after storms rendered the Merrist Wood campus unviable for the original dates. With one day’s competition run separately, the final three days were held over the weekend of 11 - 13 March. The postponement meant some classes were smaller than usual but the talent wasn’t in short supply.

The wait is over! We're excited to be able to release the wildcards for this year's NAF Five Star Winter Championships, incorporating the Petplan Equine Winter Area Festival Championships, 13 - 17 April at Hartpury Arena in Gloucestershire.

The following riders have been selected to represent Great Britain at Jerez de la Frontera CDI3* held at the Royal Andalusian School of Equestrian Art in Cádiz, Spain (19 – 21 and 23 – 26 March 2022).
