Important news for BD members entered in the Petplan Equine Area Festival scheduled to take place at Wellington Riding on 19 - 21 July. 

The NAF Five Star Hartpury Festival of Dressage presented five days of Premier League competition alongside the annual CDI3*/CPEID3* (6 – 10 July 2022).

Horse Welfare always remains the paramount consideration for British Dressage, and with the current forecast for unusually high temperatures over the coming days it is essential that we plan and prepare in advance for this.

British Dressage is delighted to confirm the team line-ups for the 2022 FEI Junior and Young Rider European Championships, which take place later this month on home soil at Hartpury in Gloucestershire (25 – 31 July 2022).

Young horses were in the spotlight as Hartpury’s Festival of Dressage (5 – 10 July 2022) hosted the semi-finals of the popular KBIS Young Dressage Horse series. These classes, which always attract big entries and spectator interest as a chance to spot upcoming star talent, also prove a popular pathway for riders to showcase stars of the future, and this year was no exception.

The CPEDI3* classes at Hartpury Festival of Dressage (05- 10 July) boasted a fantastic line-up of para dressage riders as competitors across the grades made their final mission for selection for the World Championships in Herning next month. Great Britain’s Sir Lee Pearson and Sophie Wells remained unbeaten all week, as did Ireland’s Michael Murphy.

With the Summer Regionals Championships getting underway this weekend, we’re releasing the qualification ratios for each level to progress to the LeMieux National Championships at Somerford Park in Cheshire, 15 – 18 September.

Colraine Equestrian, Truro in Cornwall is over the moon to come out on top as Competition Venue winners in the SEIB Yard of the Year Awards in Association with Horse & Hound. Announced yesterday the awards were nominated by clients and competitors and then judged by a panel of equestrian experts.

Competition is in full swing at this week’s NAF Five Star Hartpury Festival of Dressage (05 – 10 July 2022). The six-day festival has attracted riders from 14 nations across the CDI3* and CPEDI3* classes, alongside Premier League competition and KBIS Young Horse semi-finals.

The following horse and rider combinations have been selected to represent Great Britain this week at Hartpury CDI3* in Gloucestershire (06 – 10 July 2022).
