Following the viewing trial hosted at Hartpury Festival last month, the Senior Selection Panel can now announce the horses selected to represent Great Britain at this year’s FEI WBFSH Dressage World Breeding Championships for Young Horses in Ermelo, the Netherlands (08 – 11 September 2022).

With one month to go until the LeMieux National Championships return to Somerford Park, from 15 to 18 September, we’re excited to announce the world class line up of hosts joining us for daily masterclasses, which return on all four days by popular demand.  

The British Dressage Selectors in conjunction with Performance Manager Caroline Griffith have made a change to the team that will represent Great Britain at the 2022 FEI Dressage European Championships for Under 25s which will take place at Budapest region - Pilisjászfalu, Hungary, from 24 – 28 August.

After accomplishing the mission of Paris 2024 qualification, British para riders returned to the BB Horse Arena today to round off Herning 2022 with an outstanding campaign in the final race for individual medal glory. The Grade II Freestyle saw Sir Lee Pearson take silver and Georgia Wilson bring home bronze, while Natasha Baker and Sophie Wells each won the bronze medal in their respective grades.

The British team of Sophie Wells, Natasha Baker, Sir Lee Pearson and Georgia Wilson have achieved fourth place at the FEI Para World Championships in Herning, securing a spot at Paris 2024 in the process and a place each in tomorrow’s Freestyle finale.

British Dressage is delighted to confirm the team line-up for the 2022 FEI Dressage European Championships for Under 25s and the individual British representative for the FEI Dressage European Championships for Children on Horses, which both take place at Budapest region – Pilisjászfalu, Hungary, from 24 – 28 August this year.

The stars burned brightly on day two of the individual competition at the FEI Para Dressage World Championships with Natasha Baker and Sophie Wells both earning stellar silver medals, whilst two hotly tipped favourites showed their magnitude for gold. 

Lottie Fry and Glamourdale have tonight won a second individual gold medal at the ECCO FEI World Championships in Herning, Denmark. Presenting their brand new “Best of Britain” freestyle, they set the Stutteri Ask Stadium alight with one of the greatest freestyles of all time to score 90.654% and keep the Grand Prix Freestyle World title in British hands.

With the Tokyo team reunited for Herning, hopes were high on day one of the FEI World Para Dressage Championships and the medal haul began quickly with Sir Lee Pearson CBE adding to his already impressive collection.

30 teams fought it out for the podium places at the BD Youth Home International over two action packed days at Arena UK in Lincolnshire, (6-7 August).  It was down to the wire as to which team would win with all eyes on the final combination on day two to see which team would gain the honours.
