British Dressage is delighted to announce the venues that have been allocated to host Petplan Equine Winter and Summer Area Festivals in the next three-year cycle, from 2024 to 2026. 

In line with the British Dressage Articles of Association, the positions of Sport Operations Director, Business Development Director and Finance Director are open for election this year. This is an ideal opportunity for members to get more involved in helping us shape and develop future strategy for the sport and organisation, so please do volunteer your services and help support our sport.

The following horse and rider combination has been selected to represent Great Britain this week at Lisbon CDI3*/CDI2*/CDI1*/CDIU25/CDIY/J/P/Ch-A in Portugal (24 – 26 March 2023).

Addington Equestrian cut the ribbon on the 2023 international para dressage season, with Britain’s leading riders enjoying a great start to the year alongside some stellar St Patrick’s week performances by team Ireland. 

Becky Moody produced five winning tests at the FEI levels together with taking two wins in the young horse classes at Myerscough Premier League Show in Lancashire (07 – 12 March 2023). The show saw strong performances across the six days of competition, despite the snowy conditions unleashed by Storm Larisa keeping many competitors stranded at home.

British Equestrian (BEF) is delighted to today release its industry wide survey around environmental sustainability in order to help us shape a strategy to address the risks, challenges and opportunities to support the wider equine community on this fundamental social impact topic. 

Active Delamotte delivered three golden national tickets for Jess Ralton at a high-scoring Winter Regional Championships. There was a lot of talent on display at Wellington Riding in Hampshire (25-28 February 2023) with six combinations scoring over 74% to win their titles.

At the FEI CDI 3* competition at Addington Equestrian Centre, on Thursday 16 March, there was an accident during the Horse Inspection for the Grand Prix.
