British Dressage and Equestrian Management Agency are thrilled to unveil plans for each day at the National Convention, along with the exciting announcement of two title partners.

Day one at the third running of the Petplan Equine Summer Area Festival Championships saw seven star quality combinations blow away the competition on a bright and breezy day at Lincolnshire host venue Arena UK. 

Thursday evening's performance at the Horse of the Year Show 2023, taking place this week at the Resorts World Arena, The NEC, Birmingham (04 – 08 October), features the eleventh year and tenth running of the annual Dressage Future Elite Championship.

Fine tune your dressage and showjumping skills with the unique opportunity to compete in the Red Gorilla Combined Training series, as the qualifiers begin in January 2024. 

British Dressage is saddened to hear of the recent passing of Jane de la Mare and Carl Hester’s Nip Tuck, the much-loved horse who partnered Carl to team silver medals at the 2014 World Equestrian Games, the 2015 European Championships and, most recently, Rio 2016. Nip Tuck, or Barney as he was known, was put to sleep on Monday 25 September at the age of 19 following a short illness.

With qualification for the NAF Five Star Winter Championships and Petplan Winter Area Festival Championships in full swing, we’re delighted to announce an exciting new era for these two flagship dressage events, with Addington Equestrian confirmed as the new venue from 2024.

It's been a sensational Sunday at the LeMieux National Championships - what a fantastic way to wrap up this year's competition! Riesenbeck travelling reserve, Becky Moody got her time to shine winning the Kudos Grand Prix Freestyle, Carl Hester became LeMieux National Champion, winning this title for the 11th time in his career, plus the future generation of athletes were on show in the U21 classes and the KBIS Young Horse Championships.

Super Saturday at the LeMieux Nationals produced a first-rate day of competition, with the showground buzzing as Britain's top riders stepped into the arenas for the day's titles.
