Last weekend (10 – 11 February 2024) saw the first test riding clinics featuring the new BD tests take place across the country. 

British Dressage is pleased to announce the appointment of a Nikki Birt as Development Officer for the North & West region, who will start in her new role on Monday 4 March 2024.  

The following horse and rider combination has been selected to represent Great Britain this week in the CDIY Young Rider classes at Cascais CDI3*, held at the Estoril Coast Equestrian Centre in Portugal (16-18 February 2024).

Susan Pape, who is spending the winter season in Wellington, Florida, for the 2024 Adequan® Global Dressage Festival (AGDF), continued her good form with four top-two placings and a win at the second CDI of seven-part series (24 – 29 January 2024).

British Breeding is set to host a weekend of celebration at Addington Equestrian on Saturday 10 February, with over 45 graded and approved stallions lined up to make an appearance. 

The first High Profile show of the year kicked off in tremendous style at Vale View (26-28 January 2024) with Annabella Pidgley securing the Grand Prix win and Ruby Hughes topping the Under-25 Grand Prix. Pony rider Abigail Gray and George Clooney B.S laid down a marker for team selection with the one of the highest scores of the show while Nikki Barker bagged three red rosettes.

Lottie Fry and her Tokyo 2020 partner, Everdale, were on top form at Amsterdam CDI-W with a resounding win in both the Grand Prix and Freestyle up against a high calibre field at this eighth leg of the FEI Dressage World Cup™ 2023/2024 Western European League (25 – 28 January 2024).
