With the final countdown to the delayed 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games now well underway, BD is exceptionally proud to publish our new road map to take us through the next cycle from Tokyo to Paris, our 2021 – 2024 Strategy.

The penultimate Premier League fixture of 2021 took place last week at the Leicestershire venue of Vale View Equestrian (16 – 19 June 2021) which boasted four great days of competition streamed live to viewers by Horse & Country.

At Wellington Premier League (09 - 13 June 2021) the competition was as fierce as the sun but Charlotte Dujardin kept her cool to win all her six classes.

Laura Tomlinson enjoyed exciting results last weekend at Herzlake CDI3* in Germany (18 – 20 June 2021), achieving two second placings with her Tokyo-nominated ride, Rose of Bavaria.

Sir Lee Pearson’s Paralympic, European and World Championship partner Gentleman sadly passed away suddenly on Sunday 20 June. He was 20 years old.

The highlight of many a BD Youth competitor’s year, the Sheepgate British Dressage Under 25 Championships, is set to make a welcome return to the ever-popular Lincolnshire venue after a COVID-enforced break. The six day dressage extravaganza will run 23 – 28 August 2021.

British Equestrian and the British Dressage para selectors can today confirm the 12 para dressage athlete and horse combinations that will be submitted to the Fédération Equestre Internationale (FEI) as our nominated entries for the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games.
