The 2022 Winter Regional Championships continued with the second of the eight-fixture series taking place at Morris Equestrian Centre in East Ayrshire (11 – 12 February 2022). Multiple winners were the order of the day as more combinations secured their tickets to the NAF Five Star Winter Championships.

British riders were on form at Le Mans in France (10 – 13 February 2022). Daniel Watson and Aster Berlin chalked up their first international win, Sarah Higgins and Geniaal impressed at Small Tour and Lara Butler and Kristjan placed second in the Grand Prix Special.

The following riders have been selected to represent Great Britain this week at the Adequan® Global Dressage Festival 5 at Wellington in Florida, USA (09 – 13 February 2022).

The 2022 Winter Regional Championships were set in motion last week, with the first of the eight-part series taking place at Vale View Equestrian in Leicestershire (03 – 06 February 2022). Twenty regional winners were crowned, and many came a step closer to realising their NAF Five Star Winter Championships goals.

The FEI President has welcomed the announcement by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) that Equestrian sport is officially confirmed in the Initial Sports Programme for Los Angeles 2028.

The on-form British combination of Susan Pape and Harmony’s Eclectisch were unbeaten in the CDI4* at the Adequan® Global Dressage Festival 3 at Wellington in Florida, USA (26 – 30 January 2022).

With our first Winter Regional getting underway at Vale View EC in Leicestershire today, we can now publish the qualification ratios for competitors who qualify for the NAF Five Star Winter Championships at Hartpury, 13 - 17 April.

At British Dressage, we’re all about ‘bringing people and horses together in harmony’ and that includes the team at BDHQ, who work to deliver competition and training opportunities for our growing membership. We’re looking for new recruits to join the team in Meriden, West Midlands, across a range of roles in sport operations, training and education, membership, marketing and communications.

It is with great sadness that British Dressage has learned today of the passing of our former Chairman, Penny Pollard.  Penny died this morning, Monday 31 January 2021, at the age of 63, following a long and brave battle with cancer.
