BD Youth rider Violet Hawkins has made waves this season with Petplan Equine Area Festival wins and several places on the start lists here at the NAF Five Star Winter Championships and Petplan Equine Winter Area Festivals. We caught up with this rising star to hear about her Hartpury experience. 

It was a Good Friday to remember on day three of the NAF Five Star Winter Championships with the Hartpury campus bathed in sunshine, plenty of spectators taking in the action and a further seven champions crowned.

The NAF Five Star Winter Championships, incorporating the Petplan Equine Winter Area Festival Championships, are renowned for producing tales of triumph, talent, adversity and all in between. We caught up with Mandy Keen, who's at Hartpury this week juggling multiple roles. 

Another busy day across the three arenas at the NAF Five Star Winter Championships, another nine champions crowned and another great day in the history of the highlight of the winter season here at Hartpury.

Hot competition at the Science Supplements Onley Grounds Equestrian Centre, where the British Dressage Combined Training Championships was held (09 - 10 April 2022), saw dressage horses showing their levitation skills and eventers and showjumpers channelling their inner dressage divas.

A fabulous day one was had here at Hartpury for the NAF Five Star Winter Dressage Championships with the much welcome return of tradestands, spectators and socialising. A few spring showers couldn't dampen bright spirits on a day where nine champions were crowned.

The following rider has been selected to represent Great Britain this week at Sint-Truiden CDI3* in Belgium (14 – 17 April 2022).

British Dressage and leading international equestrian sports network Horse & Country (H&C), today announced the details of a wide-ranging partnership. The new arrangement covers key areas, including production, distribution, broadcast and streaming rights, and extensive marketing cross-promotion.

After a strong start for World Cup debutants Lottie Fry and Dark Legend in Thursday’s Short Grand Prix, where they posted 73.365% for eighth, tonight the young British star did a masterful job of nursing an expensively unsettled Dark Legend through their freestyle. It might not have been the British pair’s day but the Grand Prix Freestyle at the 2022 FEI Dressage World Cup™ Final in Leipzig, Germany, provided an incredible finale won by the home nation’s Jessica von Bredow-Werndl and TSF Dalera BB.
