The British Dressage Selectors in conjunction with Performance Manager Caroline Griffith have made a change to the team that will represent Great Britain this week in the FEI Dressage Nations Cup™ at Compiègne in France (19 – 22 May 2022). After sustaining a mild concussion following a minor non riding-related incident, Richard Davison has been forced to withdraw from the competition.

The following horse and rider combinations have been selected to represent Great Britain this week at Compiègne CDIO5*/CDI3*/CDI2*/CDIU25/CDIYJP in France (19 – 22 May 2022).

The prolific pony stallion Caesar 171 has sadly passed away. After a long and magnificent life, he was put to sleep on 01 May 2022 at the great age of 33. The foundation stallion at the Brown family’s Godrics Stud, he was one of the most influential pony dressage sires in British breeding history, siring numerous prominent British dressage ponies of recent times.

Dressage will be part of the Science Supplements Bolesworth Elite Auctions for the very first time this year, aiming to showcase a small, handpicked number of premium-bred dressage horses ranging from two year olds through to five year olds.

The Senior Inter Regional event took place at Bishop Burton College in East Yorkshire from 6-8 May 2022.

The Equissage Para Home International which took place at Bishop Burton last weekend was a sparkling celebration of para dressage which also included the new Freestyle to music bronze and silver tests.

Competing alongside our Youth teams at Le Mans CDI in France (28 April – 01 May 2022), British star Gareth Hughes dominated in the CDI4* with two magical rides aboard his 2021 European Championships partner Sintano Van Hof Olympia, as well as taking home a CDI2* win with Happiness.
