Congratulations to the 22 new regional champions and those who earned their NAF Five Star Winter Championship qualification tickets at Myerscough’s Winter Regional Championships held in Lancashire last week (15 – 19 February).

The Petplan Area Festival series offers riders a chance to advance through the dressage levels from Prelim to Intermediate, in a supportive environment, all while aiming for an exciting championship. Our two featured riders are doing just that, inspiring others with their journeys alongside their equine partners.

The latest Petplan Winter Area Festivals saw Rebecca Holloran and Jemimah Channon shine, with Rebecca winning the Novice Silver class on Dora the Explorer and Jemimah performing strongly in the Novice Bronze with DBS Campbeltown. It is with great sadness that British Dressage bids farewell to British Olympic dressage rider Domini Morgan (née Lawrence), a hugely influential and well-respected pioneer of the sport who passed away on 4 January at the age of 99.

The Petplan Winter Area Festivals have already showcased countless remarkable combinations, each stepping confidently down the centre line to achieve personal best scores, impress the judges, and embrace the vibrant atmosphere of an event they’ve worked hard to qualify for.

A strong British contingent delivered promising results in Le Mans, where Anna Ross and Sofia Games led the charge, achieving wins at the popular French CDI (6 – 9 February 2024).
