At the BD Youth Inter Regionals, hosted by Vale View Equestrian in Leicestershire (01-02 July 2023), North & East region took the honours for the second year running, with the Buckingham team triumphing over North & West Sapphire and their regional teammates, North & East Sandringham. Anna Burns’ individual A Squad victory won her a coveted trophy and there was fierce competition in all the individual contests with close results at the top.

With the British horses settled and through the first horse inspection at Unikornis Lovarda in Budapest region - Pilisjászfalu, Hungary, it’s time to look ahead to this year’s FEI Dressage European Championships for Young Riders and wish our riders the very best of luck this week.

2023 CHIO Aachen was widely heralded as a preview to the much-anticipated FEI European Championships, and with a stellar line up of Europe’s top riders, the contest for the Nations Cup competition in the crucible of dressage lived up to expectations (23 June – 02 July 2023). 

A bright British team achieved fourth place out of seven nations in the CDIO4* FEI Nations Cup™ at CHIO Rotterdam in the Netherlands (22 – 25 June 2023), with Lewis Carrier making a promising senior team debut, and Andrew Gould and Indigro displaying top form in the Grand Prix Special.
