With masterclasses taking place every day at the LeMieux National Dressage Championships, spectators can look forward to fascinating insight and expertise from some of the best in the business.

The concluding Summer Regional Championships of the year took place at Hartpury University and Hartpury College in Gloucestershire (01 – 03 August 2023). The show boasted a wealth of high-class competition as riders battled it out for the last available places at next month’s LeMieux National Championships at Somerford Park.

Paul Hayler and Becky Moody each secured a double of titles at Northallerton Equestrian Centre’s Summer Regional Championships (22 – 24 July 2023), while Katherine Tullie was the highest scorer when taking The Centre Line Preliminary Gold win at the North Yorkshire venue.

With the Summer Regionals now complete, we're delighted to release the wildcards for this year's LeMieux National Championships, taking place on 14 – 17 September at Somerford Park in Cheshire.

The English North & West team of Windsor was victorious in the Youth Home Nations at Sparsholt College in Hampshire (29-30 July) – rather an appropriate name in this Coronation year. The Welsh team of Snowdonia and the English Kit Kats (South & East) weren’t far behind. While all the riders were determined to do their best for their team and nation, there was a great spirit of support and cooperation, and plenty of opportunity to meet old friends and make new ones.

The British contingent flying the flag at the FEI WBFSH Dressage World Breeding Championships produced some bright performances to defy the downpours that dominated an inspiring week in Ermelo (3 – 6 August 2023).  

Following an unprecedented month of FEI European Championships success, Britain's Youth riders have made an outstanding impression on the revised FEI World Rankings tables, updated on 31 July. 

British Equestrian and the British Dressage selectors can today confirm the four horse and rider combinations that will form their list of definite entries ahead of the FEI Dressage European Championship, set to take place in Riesenbeck, Germany from 5–10 September this year.

The second KBIS Young Horse semi-finals were held at Northallerton Equestrian Centre (21 – 24 July 2023) where there was hot competition to join those who qualified at Hartpury to contest the title at the LeMieux National Championships in September.  

Janine Jansen won both the Fairfax Saddles Prix St Georges Silver and the Saracen Horse Feeds Intermediate I Silver with Spitfire III at Bicton’s Regional Championships in Devon (21 – 23 July 2023).
