Lottie Fry and her Tokyo 2020 ride, Everdale, completed their 2023 as decisive winners of the sixth leg of the FEI Dressage World Cup™ 2023/2024 Western European League at Mechelen in Belgium (23 – 30 December 2023).

The following horse and rider combination has been selected to represent Great Britain at Mechelen CDI-W in Belgium (26 – 30 December 2023) – the sixth leg of the FEI Dressage World Cup™ 2023/2024 Western European League.

After two intensive training camps in the autumn, 12 young athletes have been selected for the Sport England funded National Academy programme in 2024. Across the camps at both venues, all Foundation Academy Athletes demonstrated their hard work in training and dedication to all aspects of the sport, their development, and their horse’s welfare. Coaches at all camps were impressed by the commitment of all of the athletes aged 13 to 24.

Reigning World Champions Lottie Fry and Glamourdale retain the 'International Champions of Great Britain' award for the second year at the 2023 London International Horse Show. 

Arena UK High Profile Show in Lincolnshire (07 – 10 December 2023) had a brilliant festive atmosphere, despite the weather doing its best to dampen spirits. Classic Goldstrike had a father and daughter win, Anna Ross and Beth Bainbridge made a successful raid up to Lincolnshire from the depths of Devon and Sarah Higgins had multiple wins.

Today, British Equestrian honoured leading equestrian figures for their services to the industry. Five individuals were presented with the British Equestrian Medal of Honour by the federation’s Chair, Malcolm Wharton CBE, and CEO, Jim Eyre. The presentation took place in the main arena at the London International Horse Show, during the afternoon performance.
