With last night’s torrential rain making way for sunshine, it was back to the idyllic setting in the shadow of Windsor Castle for the final leg of the CDI4* at Royal Windsor Horse Show, the Al Shira’aa Freestyle.

It was a strong showing for the quintet of riders who headed to the legendary Cadre Noir in Saumur France for the CDI3*/2*/U25 with all achieving top eight placings throughout including two wins for Jess Dunn in the Small Tour ranks on her first trip to Europe to compete internationally.

British Dressage is delighted to announce Sharon Lindop has been ratified as Chairman for the Scotland region. Sharon has been acting in an interim capacity during Deborah Adamson’s illness and sad passing. Following a successful application and interview process, Sharon has now been formally ratified to the position.

Caroline Chew had the honour of getting the Al Shira’aa Grand Prix underway for Singapore tonight in the shadow of Windsor Castle as part of the Royal Windsor Horse Show 2019.

This week, top riders from across the world will challenge some of Britain’s best when the Royal Windsor Horse Show hosts the Al Shira’aa CDI4* Grand Prix and Freestyle to Music on Thursday 9 and Friday 10 May, respectively. 

The following riders have been selected to represent Great Britain this week at Saumur CDI3*/CDI2*/CDIU25 in France (2 – 5 May 2019).

Storm Hannah may have left some challenging conditions in her wake as high winds whipped across the UK, but this didn’t detract from three days of top class dressage last week at Keysoe Premier League in Bedfordshire (26 – 28 April 2019).

Ahead of the initial Test Riding and Viewing for the 2019/20 season and the 2019/20 Selection Policy, which is due to be published in the late autumn, Selectors are outlining the requirements for qualification at all levels and stages of the season to facilitate U21 riders and their plans. The 2019/20 season will run from 1 September 2019 until 31 August 2020.

The following riders have been selected to represent Great Britain at the Saumur CDIOY/J/P and CDIY/J/P at the iconic Cadre Noir, the French national riding school (2 - 5 May).
