A pure-bred Lipizzaner bought from a stud dispersal sale in Hungary took both the Grand Prix and Inter II championship titles at the British Dressage Northern Show, held at Northallerton EC some six months later than originally planned.

British Equestrian is delighted to announce that three of the federation’s member bodies – British Dressage, The British Horse Society and Endurance GB – have achieved the foundation level of the Equality Standard for Sport.

The final two combinations are now in place to bring our start list for the LeMieux National Grand Prix Championships up to our festive 30.

The weather may have been foggy and cold but the competition (and festive decorations) shone bright in the Grand Prix at the last High Profile show of the year at Keysoe.

It promises to be an exciting year in 2021 for all levels of competitor, from grassroots to international, with the anticipation taken to new heights as leading British feed brand Saracen Horse Feeds take title sponsorship of a new era for the ever-popular Quest series for the next three years.

The final countdown is on to an extraordinary conclusion to what has been an extraordinary year, with the LeMieux National Grand Prix Dressage Championships taking place on 21 – 22 December. We’re really excited to unwrap an early present for you… the rider list!

The debut British Dressage Middle Tour Festival was a great way to end a unique year for some of the country's most talented combinations at Inter A, B and II levels. The first titles were claimed by Steph Croxford and Mr Benn II in the Gold section and Clare Hole and Pro-Motion in the Silver.

British Dressage is delighted to announce that a familiar face to the Scottish region and the Regional Committee has been selected as the new Chairman for the country. Caroline Paterson, who’s been an active Judges Representative since 2018, will take on the Chairmanship from 1 January 2021. The vacancy arose due to a family move south of the border for the current Chair, Sharon Lindop.
