British Dressage is excited to announce the details of the fourth and final Young Horse Forum, taking place for the first time across the border in Scotland.
First-rate Ayrshire venue Morris EC will host the young horse road show on Wednesday 15 May led by popular hosts Paul Fielder and Paul Hayler.
Scotland and its strong contingent of riders and breeders is well-represented in the Young Horse divisions year after year with many combinations going on to achieve prominent success through the levels. Notable equine achievers include Hannah Biggs' rising Grand Prix horse Don Caledonia, born and raised in the Highlands by Reay Campbell and her team at Caledonia Dressage, Sugar Plum Fairy, another Champion bred by Caledonia, and the promising gelding French Noir MFS, ridden to championship success by Jess Dunn and bred by Caroline Ironside at MFS Stud. With so much local talent and a thriving dressage community within BD Scotland, it’s apt that the final Young Horse Forum takes place closer to home for our northernmost members.
Riders, trainers, owners and breeders alike will be treated to a packed day covering everything from conformation and recognizing future potential to scoring young horses and test riding.
Tickets are just £30 for BD members and £35 for all non-members, booking fees apply.
