The popular Young Horse Forum returns to the British Dressage calendar, with in person tickets now released.
After four successful forums, this key British Dressage training event is back in the calendar for 2022. Join top hosts FEi 5* judge Isobel Wessels and respected professional Matt Hicks as we delve into breeding, producing, training and competing young horses across four age categories - with sessions for four, five, six and seven year olds. Watch, learn and be inspired by a day packed with arena sessions, featuring training tips, discussion on hot topics and test riding demonstrations.
With the well-being and welfare of the equine athlete at the forefront of the British Dressage philosophy, this year we're keeping a keen eye on the long term results of training young horses, ensuring that we're giving the animals in our care a healthy, happy future.
Here’s what you can expect:
- Understand paces and way of going
- Applying the scales of training to young horses
- Perfect preparation for the KBIS Young Dressage Horse series
- Working with the FEI directives for five to seven year olds
