Team NAF Pony riders selected for Poland Euros

The British Dressage u21 Selectors Judy Harvey, Leanne Wall and Nikki Herbert have today confirmed their Team NAF foursome for the upcoming Pony European Championships in Strzegom, Poland on 14-18 August 2019.

Team (in alphabetical order):

Bonnie Bourne (16) from Kent with her own Fin C We (liver chestnut, gelding 16yrs, 14.2hh, Famos x Eiger III)

Holly Kerslake (15) from Devon riding Carl Trock and her own Valhallas Zorro (black, stallion, 10yrs, 14.1hh, Valhallas Lord Matrafal x Fjordglimts Sir Johnson)

Isobel Lickley (14) from Staffordshire riding Robert & Nicola Lickley’s Mister Snowman(liver chestnut gelding, 13yrs, 14.1hh, The Braes My Mobility x Llanarth Most Triton)

Annabella Pidgley (14) from Berkshire with Sarah Pidgley’s Cognac IX (palomino, gelding, 11yrs, 14.1hh, FS Chamertin x Waldemar) with a direct reserve of Sarah Pidgely’s Ine (chestnut, mare, 12yrs, 14.1hh, Constantin x Handryk)

First reserve:

Hermione Tottman (15) from Hertfordshire with Nicola Tottman’s Brasil (dark bay, gelding, 12yrs, 14.2hh, Sandokkans Leonardo x Orchard Davranches).

The squad of five will travel to Kent for a final Pony Pre-European Team Camp on Tuesday 6 and Wednesday 7 August at the yard of John Parker International Horse Transport, who are travelling the ponies to Poland.

The competition at Stzegom gets underway on Wednesday 14 August with two days of Team test, where the first medals will be decided. The riders then battle it out for Individual medals over the following two days before the Freestyle honours are decided on Sunday 18 August.
