Summer Regional Championships 24: Bury Farm EC

Congratulations to all riders collecting qualification tickets for the LeMieux National Championships at the Bury Farm Summer Regional Championships taking place from 23 - 25 July 2024.

Gracie Catling was a standout competition, achieving no fewer than four Regional Champion titles across the show with three winning horses. With her Quaterback-sired gelding Qwinton, the Buckinghamshire-based rider claimed both the Fairfax Saddles Prix St Georges Silver and Bret Willson International Advanced Medium Gold; before taking the HorseQuest Elementary Gold with Fraithwens Wytske Fan Ter Lune (pictured above) and Saracen Horse Feeds Intermediate I Silver with Tsjebe Fan 'E Vesta Hoeve, promoting the Friesian horse at the top step of the BD podium. 

BD Youth riders Violet Hawkins and Demi Howard-Cartwright each claimed a title, showing good form at the end of a busy season campaigning in the FEI Youth age classes. 

Fairfax Saddles Prix St Georges winners Joseph Bright and Fame III will be a combination to follow at the Championships having achieved a duo of top ten placings in the Small Tour competition at Hartpury CDI earlier in the summer. 

Well done to all riders who took part, and thanks go to the organising team at Bury Farm for running a fantastic summer fixture.
