Summer Regional Championships 24: SNEC

Congratulations to the riders who collected LeMieux National Championship qualification tickets at Scottish National Equestrian Centre Summer Regional Championships, which took place at the West Lothian venue from 10 – 11 August 2024.
Shona Leckie and her British-bred six-year-old Dream of Success MFS (Dream Boy x Del Piero) - pictured, were unbeaten to win The Centre Line Preliminary Silver and BETTALife Novice Silver on the exact same score of 69.94%. Shona, 22, took to social media to say, “A very special weekend with Cruz who is growing up into a really lovely horse the more experience he gets.”
Jo Barry, from West Lothian, secured a trio of qualifications for Somerford Park next month, with three wins from three starts. Winner of the TopSpec Medium Gold with her nine-year-old, San Amour-sired mare, Karisma II (70.14%), Jo also claimed the Fairfax Saddles Prix St Georges Gold and Saracen Horse Feeds Intermediate I Gold aboard her own and Lady Hope’s 12-year-old Hidalgo II (Rousseau x Donnerhall), scoring 67.21% and 69.56% respectively.
The highest overall percentage score over the weekend was attained by Jennifer Johnston-Harman and her six-year-old mare Nightlife, winners of the BETTALife Novice Gold on 73.77%.
