Statement: Wellington Riding Area Festival postponement

Important news for BD members entered in the Petplan Equine Area Festival scheduled to take place at Wellington Riding on 19 - 21 July. 

Due to the extreme temperatures forecast for Monday and Tuesday next week, British Dressage have been reviewing the situation with Wellington Riding and have collectively made the decision to postpone the classes on Tuesday 19 July and reschedule them on Friday 22 July.  

Those members affected will be notified directly from the venue and will have until 2.00pm tomorrow, Friday 15 July, to withdraw and issued with a full refund. After this point, any further withdrawals will still be subject to Rule 62a of the 2022 BD Members’ Handbook.  

We apologise for the inconvenience this may cause, but horse welfare always remains our paramount consideration.
