British Dressage is pleased to announce the introduction of a new Premier League fixture, to be hosted by Chard Equestrian in the spring.

We’re pleased to confirm that top Somerset venue Chard Equestrian, will host a British Dressage Premier League fixture this year. With the schedule confirmed, riders looking for a chance to experience Premier League competition can aim for the event due to take place from 3 – 6 April 2025.

Lou Jones, Sport Operations Manager, commented: “We’re really pleased that Jane and the team at Chard Equestrian have stepped in to complete the Premier League calendar for 2025. The venue has grown into one of our premier centres, offering a friendly, professional environment for riders to enjoy affiliated competition at all levels; I’m sure that they will deliver a wonderful Premier League show for our elite competitors.”

Jane Gregory, owner of Chard Equestrian, commented: "The whole team at Chard are delighted to be given the opportunity to offer a Premier League to all who wish to step forward and have a go, from those making the step up to FEI classes to the top BD riders. It is wonderful that the hard work of the team and acknowledgment of our competitors, judges and owners is allowing us to move to this level as an affiliated venue."

Premier League shows offer riders the opportunity to enjoy FEI classes on British soil, with many of the nation’s top combinations using the opportunity to gain mileage for international status or to compete for National Championship places.
