The countdown to the 2022 NAF Five Star Winter Championships is well and truly on! Running 13 – 17 April at their well-established home of Hartpury College in Gloucestershire, the championships are taking shape with the key information hub now live and entries open.
The ‘semi-finals’, namely the Winter Regionals and Petplan Equine Winter Area Festivals are nearing completion so qualification places are filling up and those who’ve secured a ticket to Hartpury can now get their entries in online.
The busy five-day timetable was released earlier in the year but now those who are Hartpury-bound – as a competitor, owner, official, supporter or spectator - can use the www.bdchampionships.com website for all the information they need to know.
Competitors will want to head straight to the all-important show schedule with all the detail needed to prepare for your Hartpury experience including entry information, awards and the outline rules of attendance. All entries are made online via My Riding Life and entries close on Wednesday 23 March. British Dressage will release wild cards around 18 March for both championships classes where they apply.
The layout and event flow at Hartpury will return pre-Covid editions of the Championships with three competition arenas in action but gala evenings won’t make a return, the showcase freestyle classes for the Magic Prix St Georges and Superflex Inter I will run in the daily time table on Thursday and Saturday respectively.
Those who love their shopping, we’ll once again have tradestands both inside the NAF Five Star arena and by the Petplan Equine Arenas outside. Applications from stand holders are coming in and we’re anticipating a great selection for all visitors to enjoy. Spectators are welcome to come and enjoy their early spring dressage fix – and entry is free.
