LeMieux National Dressage Championships - entries now open

We are excited to announce that entries are now open for the LeMieux National Dressage Championships, taking place on 16 - 19 September at Somerford Park in Cheshire.
Qualified riders from the Summer Regionals are now able to make their entries into the Championships, through My Riding Life:
Qualification from the Summer Regionals is worked out as following:
- All scores must be over 65%. Combinations scoring below 65% will not be eligible for qualification for the LeMieux National Dressage Championships as stated in the British Dressage Rule Book, unless it is by a wild card.
- The number qualifying from each Summer Regional class will depend on the number of starters in that particular class according to the conversion charts (please see below). The number of qualifications per level varies according to the total number of horses qualified for the Regionals and the number of spaces available at the LeMieux National Dressage Championships.
- A ‘starter’ is a horse that actually enters the competition arena and goes down the centre line, even if it withdraws before finishing.
- The last Summer Regional finished on Sunday 8 August and the BD Office are now calculating how many unfilled spaces there are in each class at the LeMieux National Dressage Championships. These spaces will be filled by the highest scoring unqualified combinations from all of the Regionals.
- The names of the combinations awarded wild cards will be put on the BD website as soon as they are available. Please note that wild cards aren't available prior to this via the BD Office.
