With 1 year and 177 days to go until Paris 2024 opens the next Olympic Games, here's all you need to know about entering the first ticket ballot, which closes on 31 January.
British Dressage followers and members still have time to register for the first Paris 2024 ticket ballot closing at 17.00 BST on Tuesday 31 January.
Tickets will be available for all Olympic venues (except for surfing and the Opening Ceremony) with fans able to enjoy world-class sport set against the backdrop of France and Paris’ world-famous landmarks from breaking at the Place de la Concorde to beach volleyball at the Eiffel Tower Stadium. Fans will be able to personalise their Games experience through “Make Your Games” packs ensuring their time in Paris and in other venues around France is fully customised.
Those who are successful in the draw will be allocated 48-hour timeslots between 15 February and 15 March 2023 to purchase their tickets. Each “Make Your Games” pack of tickets, includes three sessions assembled according to the purchaser’s preferences. To create a pack an individual will be able to:
- Choose three sessions from all the sports on the programme, subject to seating availability and choice.
- Select up to six tickets for each session.
- Packs are designed to be flexible to suit the purchasers’ needs, whether they are attending on their own, with friends or as a family.
- A maximum number of 30 tickets will be allowed per account in all Olympic sales phases combined.
From March until the end of April, there will be a second registration period for the draw for the sale of single tickets, which will be available to buy from May 2023.
Tickets for the Paralympic Games, including the para dressage competitions, will be released in autumn 2023.
The equestrian events at Paris 2024 are scheduled to be hosted at the Palace of Versailles, with the dressage competition taking place from 30 July to 5 August.
