FEI Young Rider and U25 European Championships – follow the competition live

With the British horses settled at Reiterhof Stückler in St Margarethen, Austria, it’s time to look ahead to this year’s FEI Dressage European Championships for Young Riders and Under-25s and wish our riders the very best of luck this week.

Five days of elite competition gets underway on Wednesday at the Austrian venue of Reiterhof Stückler where Europe’s leading Young Rider and Under-25 combinations will go head-to head for team and individual championships honours.

The Championships is set in motion on Wednesday with part one of the Young Rider Team medal competition from 08:00 local time (07:00 BST) and part one of the U25 Team medal competition from 14:00 (13:00 BST). Team competition continues on Thursday when the 2024 FEI Dressage Young Rider and U25 European Championship team honours will be decided. 

The British Young Rider team is made up of India Durman-Mills with Verity Saul’s Escade, Oliver Gould with Amanda Towle’s Virtue, Isobel Lickley with Rob Lickley’s Nymphenburg’s First Ampere and Hermione Tottman with Niki Tottman’s Exquisite. The British U25 Team features Angus Corrie-Deane with Mary Corrie-Deane’s Jack Johnson 2, Anna Jesty with her own Commodore Platinum, Jessica McConkey with Samantha Geddes’ Dior and Annabella Pidgley with Sarah Pidgley’s Gio. Friday sees the start of the individual competition, starting at 08:00 local time (07:00 BST) for Young Riders, and 13:45 (12:45 BST) for U25s. The second half follows on Saturday, with another set of FEI medals for each category awarded immediately after the competition closes.

Coveted positions in Sunday’s Freestyle finals will be open to the best 18 individually placed riders from the Individual competition, following a final horse inspection, and you needn’t miss a moment of the action as the entire championships is being brought live to subscribers by ClipMyHorse.TV and on the FEI YouTube channel: FEI YouTube.
