With the British ponies settled and through the first horse inspection in Le Mans, it’s time to look ahead to this year’s FEI Dressage European Championships for Ponies and wish our riders the very best of luck this week.

Five days of elite competition gets underway tomorrow at Boulerie Jump - Pôle Européan du Cheval in France, where Europe’s leading Pony competitors will go head-to-head for team and individual championship honours.

The Championships is set in motion with part one of the Team medal competition from 09:30 local time (08:30 BST) on Wednesday. This phase of competition continues into Thursday with part two of the team medal competition, and the medal ceremony shortly after.

The British Pony team is made up of Sofia Games with Janet Oliver and Katie Oliver-Games’ Steendieks Cadillac, Ella Glennon with Debbie Glennon’s Amden Supreme Golden Dancer, Abigail Gray with her own George Clooney B.S and Demi Howard-Cartwright with her own Fin C WE. Follow this link for details.

Coveted positions in the Sunday afternoon’s Freestyle finals will be open to the 18 best individually placed riders from the Individual competition, following a final horse inspection, and you needn’t miss a moment of the action as the entire Championships is being brought live to subscribers by ClipMyHorse.TV and free to view on FEI YouTube.
