FEI Junior European Championships – follow the competition live

With our horses settled and through the horse inspection at Gestüt Schafhof in Kronberg, Germany, it’s time to look ahead to this year’s FEI Dressage European Championships for Juniors and wish our riders the very best of luck this week.
Five days of elite competition gets underway tomorrow at the German venue of Gestüt Schafhof where Europe’s leading Junior competitors will go head-to-head for team and individual championship honours.
The Championships is set in motion tomorrow with part one of the Team medal competition from 13:00 local time (12:00 BST). This phase of competition continues into Thursday with part two of the team medal competition, and the medal ceremony shortly after.
The British Junior team is made up of Mette Dahl with Fiona Bigwood’s Caporal de Massa, Myles Graham with Caroline Bell’s Nibeley Union Hit, Ruby Hughes with her own, Gareth and Rebecca Hughes and Julia Hornig’s Classic Goldstrike and Isla Sully with Cassandra Sully’s Vagabond de Massa. The Individual competition gets underway on Friday at 09:00 local time (08:00 BST) running throughout the day. The second half of the Individual test follows on Saturday, with another set of FEI medals due to be awarded immediately after the competition closes.
Coveted positions in the Sunday afternoon’s Freestyle finals will be open to the 18 best individually placed riders from the Individual competition, following a final horse inspection, and you needn’t miss a moment of the action as the entire championships is being brought live to subscribers by ClipMyHorse.TV and free to view on FEI YouTube.
