Entries open for Youth Squad Assessment days

British Dressage can announce that the regional Youth Squad Assessment days are now available to book with multiple dates available over the next few months and across the regions.
Formal Squad Assessment days are aimed at all BD Youth riders, whether you're starting out on your BD Youth journey, monitoring the progress you've made over the season, or working toward achieving the next squad level. Whether you're focusing on training or actively competing, you can work your way through the squad system enabling you to train and compete with your squad at regional camps and competitions such as the Home Nations and Inter Regionals.
The Inter Regionals team competition is a competition specifically for squad riders. Selection for the Inter Regionals team competition is based on rider skills test marks, where there is more of a focus on the rider's position and effectiveness within a competitive environment.
All riders are required to have had a Formal Squad Assessment if they wish to apply for regional team selection and/or apply for the Foundation Academies.
