Definite entries for FEI Pony European Championships confirmed

British Dressage is delighted to confirm the team line-up for the 2022 FEI Pony European Championships, which takes place this coming week in Strzegom, Poland (03 – 07 August 2022).

Selected combinations at the definite entry stage are as follows, listed in alphabetical order by athlete surname:

Pony Team

Mette Dahl (16) from Haywards Heath, West Sussex with Fiona Bigwood’s George Clooney B.S (grey gelding, 2011, Caesar 171 x Santano, KWPN). 

Sofia Games (14) from Cheltenham, Gloucestershire with Katie Oliver-Games’ Next Black Magic (black gelding, 2008, Nabucco R x FS Pour L’Amour, WESTF). 

Lauren Geraghty (16) from Derby, Derbyshire with her own WS Jackson (chestnut gelding, 2011, Chiskin Jaguar x His Highness, AES). 

Ruby Hughes (14) from Southam, Warwickshire with Shirley Rixon’s Hilkens Showgirl (palomino mare, 2013, Dreidimensional x Champion De Luxe, WESTF). 

Non-travelling Reserve 

Demi Howard-Cartwright (14) from Ascot, Berkshire with her own Fin C WE (chestnut gelding, 2003, Famos x Eiger III).  

BD International Director, Judy Harvey commented; “Following the fantastic results at Hartpury for our FEI Junior and Young Rider European Championships teams I am delighted we have yet another team of strong contenders going to Poland. This is such a valuable opportunity for them all to gain vital knowledge and understanding of representing their country internationally.
