With their third consecutive win at Intermediate II, Sadie Smith and Swanmore Dantina (Dante Weltino x Charatan W), pictured above, remain ahead of the field and continue their progress on the way to Grand Prix. On just their third attempt at this level, they claimed the highest score of the show with a score of 75.34%.

“Running out of words to say how much I love her – she was amazing to score [over] 75%,” said Sadie on Facebook, adding that: “We are still very green in the piaffe passage but so proud of Dia. Really excited for what’s to come with more strength and time. But as always, she has a heart of gold.”

Tom Goode and Richard Jackson’s nine-year-old Furstenrausch PS (Fürstenball x Festrauch) continue to be ones to watch, taking first place in the FEI Grand Prix class, with a score of 70.65%. “This fantastic nine-year-old continues to develop in his first season at the level. Good warmup for the National Championships" said International Grand Prix Dressage rider Emile Faurie on Facebook, who Tom is based with at Heath Farm.
