It promises to be an exciting year in 2021 for all levels of competitor, from grassroots to international, and the news that leading British feed brand Saracen Horse Feeds has extended their generous support of our sport has taken the anticipation to new heights.

Alongside their longstanding support of the Intermediate I National Championships, Saracen Horse Feeds will take title sponsorship of a new era for the ever-popular Quest series for the next three years.

Quest is the perfect starting point for riders new to British Dressage offering three levels of competition, Intro, Prelim and Novice over two sections for open and U21 riders. There’s also the options of going solo in My Quest or joining up with two or three friends to compete in Team Quest.

A season long regional leaderboard helps riders chart their progress towards a coveted spot at one of eight regional championships where success leads to a glittering national championship to crown a series that celebrates spirit, personal progress and enjoyment.

With over 2000 competitors taking part, those involved enjoy a relaxed take on the BD rules, a dedicated, cost-effective membership option and regular e-newsletter updates just for Quest competitors.

British Dressage CEO Jason Brautigam commented: “Saracen Horse Feeds has been a valued sponsor with British Dressage for a number of years, so we’re thrilled that they have extended their association with our sport by linking our ground-breaking amateur rider series with a global leader in equine nutrition.  With our international stars aiming for success in Tokyo in summer 2021, the inspiration for grass roots riders to team up and take on their Quest challenge will be stronger than ever. We look forward to an exciting series and Championships with our new partners, as we welcome both new and existing Club members on their Quest journey this year.”

Michael Bacon, Sales & Marketing Director for Saracen Horse Feeds, added: “We are very excited to confirm our sponsorship of this hugely popular series and are looking forward to following all the riders taking part. As well as offering feed advice and product information we will be cheering everyone on from the side lines at the Quest Regional Championships, and celebrating with those who qualify for the Saracen Horse Feeds Quest Championships, this series is definitely something to look forward to in 2021.”
