British Dressage South & East – Regional Chair Vacancy

An exciting opportunity has arisen to lead the BD South & East Region as Regional Chair. 

Following the recent resignation of the current Chair, Katie Powell, for personal reasons, we are looking to appoint an individual to this key role who will provide inspiring leadership at regional level for all British Dressage activities.

Ideally the Regional Chair should be somebody with a strong interest in dressage, who has been actively involved within the sport as a judge, trainer, organiser, rider, or owner.  This person will bring a balanced approach to the implementation of policies agreed by the Board and technical committees.

The Chair will work closely with the Development Officers for the South & East Region, Katharine Perry and Sharon Walker, to ensure that the Regional Committee functions effectively and maximises the potential of each area. The Chair will encourage collective and collaborative working, helping to resolve any issues that may arise within the region.
