British Dressage is delighted to announced that Cavago, a digital platform created to connect riders of all levels to equestrian adventures, disciplines, breeds and facilities around the world, will sponsor the Cavago Associated Championships in 2022. The finals will be held at Bury Farm in Buckinghamshire, from 13-16 October 2022, and Vale View in Leicestershire on 9-13 November 2022.
The Cavago website and app www.mycavago.com opens access to the entire breadth of the horse world, spanning more than 500 breeds and over 120 different equestrian experiences at over 250 horse facilities across the globe. This makes it a perfect match for our successful Associated Championships series, which provides a showcase for the wide variety of breeds and types of horses and ponies that train and compete with British Dressage.
Company Founder, Tauseef Qadri said: “It is a privilege to sponsor these Championships, which are a celebration of the diversity of the world of horses. We look forward to sharing in the experience of watching so many talented combinations. Cavago is a product of the desire to share the best of the equestrian world and our sponsorship with British Dressage of the Associated Championships reflects this passion.”
Qualification for the Championships takes place from January to August in 2022. Three scores over 60% at the level will qualify a horse and rider to attend the Cavago Associated Championships, with classes ranging from Intro to Prix St Georges. Based on previous entries, more than 750 horse and rider combinations are expected to compete, making this one of the most popular grass roots championships in the dressage calendar.
Jason Brautigam, British Dressage CEO commented; “We are always very happy to welcome new sponsors to our sport and title sponsorship of the Associated Championships could not be a better fit for Cavago. The company provides an exciting range of opportunities for equine enthusiasts, and this is so well reflected by the wonderful variety of horses and ponies showcased at the Championships, where we celebrate equines of all shapes, sizes and breeds. We look forward to forging a long and successful relationship with Cavago.”
