Alongside competition coverage, Horse & Country will be working closely with the team at BD to produce two lifestyle documentary series, aimed at providing inspiration and education to members and newcomers alike. The first of these will be looking at the training of the non-warmblood horse; we'll be meeting horse and rider combinations who've taken part in the Associated Championship and progressed through the levels with success. The second series will turn our attention to Quest, as we follow a team's progress throughout the year - with the ultimate goal of the LeMieux Quest Championships. Both series will be available on H&C+ and will also air on the Horse & Country channel, which is free to view on LG connected televisions in the UK as well as a variety of other free digital platforms.
As part of the partnership, BD members will continue to enjoy benefits and discounts, with 15% off an annual H&C+ membership, or 20% off an annual H&C+ Gold membership - H&C's VIP membership option for competitive riders. Jason Brautigam commented, “We’re delighted to continue our partnership with Horse & Country as part of our mission to promote the sport of dressage through digital channels online. There’s a great line up of events scheduled for live streaming this year, alongside the introduction of two new standalone series to provide first class training and inspiration to BD members and dressage enthusiasts. We look forward to working with H&C to bring this content to new audiences in 2025”.
On behalf of H&C, CEO Heather Killen commented, “We’re delighted to be taking our relationship with BD to this next level. Combining great live sport with H&C’s special sauce in original content production is a winning formula to enhance engagement with the sport. We’re excited to work with BD to grow the sport of dressage in the UK and build British dressage riders’ profiles internationally.”
