Young Rider Bronze in St Margarethen

BREAKING NEWS: The British Dressage Young Rider team have secured a team bronze medal at the FEI European Championships in St Margarethen, Austria.
Congratulations to India Durman-Mills with Verity Saul’s Escade, Oliver Gould with Amanda Towle’s Virtue, Isobel Lickley with Rob Lickley’s Nymphenburg’s First Ampere and Hermione Tottman with Niki Tottman’s Exquisite on a fantastic achievement to start a summer of international championships.
Pathfinder Hermione Tottman achieved 65.206% with the Lord Loxley-sired gelding Exquisite; the Young Rider from St Albans in Hertfordshire is making her FEI Championship debut following a successful season where she earned her first international victory at CDI Hickstead in the spring.
Fellow day one rider Oliver Gould, from Pulborough, West Sussex, follows in the footsteps of his successful father Andrew Gould, who also achieved an FEI European Championship team bronze medal at Young Rider level in 2000. Oliver scored 70.059% on his team championship debut with the eye-catching chestnut gelding Virtue.
Isobel Lickley opened the second day of team competition with her outstanding stallion Nymphenburg's First Ampere and earned a new International PB of 70.206%. The combination placed tenth individually.
Having achieved medals for two consecutive years, India Durman-Mills completed the team campaign and added another medal to her collection. Her score was 70.059% on board the 15-year-old Escade, proving fantastic consistency after a strong domestic season.
The British team are supported by Chef d'Equipe Tom Hobday and team trainer Peter Storr, as well as an extensive, dedicated network of family, grooms and friends.
