About the event

This year's event sees Great Britain take centre stage as the official partner country of the 2023 CHIO Aachen. Great Britain will not only shape the Opening Ceremony, with Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal in attendance, but also the entire show days of the CHIO Aachen with special performances from the Household Cavalry and Lottie Fry - who will perform to the live sounds of the Aachen Symphony Orchestra at the “Horse & Symphony” concerts. Beyond this, the typical British flair will be noticeable all over the show grounds as well as in the city itself: the traditional reception for the partner country will take place at the market square in Aachen on Monday 26 June.
