BD International: Aachen Festival 4 Dressage

British riders have been enjoying success at the 2025 CDI Aachen Festival 4 Dressage in Germany with several top performances (3 - 6 April 2025).
Gareth Hughes made his mark in the Big Tour classes aboard the 11-year-old gelding Jens (Charmeur x Sandro Hit), whom he co-owns with Karen Miller and Morgan Barbançon Mestre. This was their first international competition after beginning their competitive career as a combination in October 2024. Meanwhile, Gareth’s daughter Ruby Hughes added to the Hughes Dressage success, showcasing impressive consistency in the Junior Riders classes, securing strong scores and placings in the Team, Individual and Freestyle Tests aboard Claire Wyatt’s Fire Kracka. In the Under 25 divisions, Harrison Ashton claimed a top spot in the Under 25 Grand Prix aboard Million Dreams, whilst Charlotte Lutener also contested both the Under 25 Freestyle and Under 25 Grand Prix.
