British Dressage is proud to present the Arab Horse Dressage Championships for a second year following its success in 2017. Riders lucky enough to ride one of these horses, whether purebred or part bred, will now have the opportunity to qualify for a prestigious championship on Saturday 20 October 2018 at Solihull RC in the West Midlands.

The Arabian, whose history can be traced back to 3000 years BC, has had a huge influence on the breeding of competition horses today. Its DNA has influenced every light horse and many pony and warmblood breeds throughout history.

Well known for their ability on the racetrack and for endurance, their talents don’t stop there! The refinement of these revered horses, combined with power, agility and grace also makes them elegant dressage horses and many part-breds have made it to the top in the Olympic disciplines.
