Whilst British Dressage comes to terms with the sudden passing of our Chairman, Linda Whetstone, yesterday (15 December 2021) at the age of 79, we reflect on the immeasurable impact that she has had on our sport and the incredible legacy she leaves behind.

It was a bright and early start for the qualifying FEI Dressage World Cup™ Grand Prix, supported by Horse & Hound, to open the London International Horse Show at its new home at ExCel London and a high quality display of dressage awaited those up to watch the action unfold.

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our Chairman, Linda Whetstone. Linda was a stalwart of our sport, having dedicated over six decades of her life to her passion for dressage as a rider, judge and volunteer.

Henriette Andersen rode hot prospect Zackery II to a Prix St Georges victory whilst Fiona Bigwood and Hawtins Delicato headed both the Grand Prix and Grand Prix Special at Keysoe Profile Show in Bedfordshire (2 – 5 December 2021).

Following an extensive recruitment drive, British Dressage can now announce the new names that have been appointed to join our international team from next year.

The following horses and riders have been selected to represent Great Britain in the FEI Dressage World Cup™ qualifier held at the London International Horse Show, ExCel London (16 – 17 December 2021).

The British Dressage Middle Tour Festival was a great way to end the year for some of the country's leading combinations at Inter A, B and II levels. The 2021 titles were claimed by Sara-Jane Lanning with Sigurd and Georgina Howard with Lovely Illusion who won the Gold and Silver titles respectively.

British Dressage is delighted to announce that the National Development Programme for Coaching Excellence for 2021/22 started on the 29 and 30 November with coaches selected from British Showjumping, British Dressage, British Eventing, Pony Club and the British Horse Society.

Results of Charlotte Fry and Dark Legend who represented Great Britain at Stockholm CDI5* in Sweden (25 – 28 November 2021), an invitation-only competition featuring ten of the highest ranked riders on the FEI world ranking.
