Britain’s para dressage stars were out in force for the season opener at Addington Equestrian, Buckinghamshire, as the path to Paris began on home soil (11 – 14 March 2024).

Following results and progress throughout the winter season, the British Dressage U21 Selectors are delighted to release their long lists of riders in contention for team selection for the FEI Youth European Championships 2024. 

The dressage world has lost one of its brightest stars in Pinocchio, who passed away on Wednesday (20 March 2024) at the age of 27. A history-making partnership with Sophie Wells OBE, Pinocchio brought national pride on the Paralympic stage and at the FEI Young Rider European Championships, winning the hearts of many along the way.

Britain’s youth riders displayed the results of dedicated winter training at the first domestic international fixture of the season, with Children on Horses to U25 Grand Prix classes taking place at Addington CDI (14 – 17 March 2024).

With the 2024 Red Gorilla Combined Training qualifiers coming to an end this weekend, and venues running successful shows throughout January, February and March. We caught up with a couple of combinations who’ll be heading to the Championships at Onley Grounds, 27 – 28 April.

British Equestrian (BEF), 19 member bodies and associated industry leaders have united to commit to endorse the highest standards of equine welfare, wellbeing and ethics under a new ‘Charter for the Horse’, launched today.  

The FEI have confirmed the date change for the spring CPEDI fixture hosted at Wellington Riding; the show will now take place from 31 May to 3 June.  

The following horse and rider combination has been selected to represent Great Britain this week at the Adequan® Global Dressage Festival 10 at Wellington International in Florida, USA (12 - 17 March 2024).
