Internationally renowned equine therapy company Niagara Equissage has kick started their year by joining forces with British Dressage as official sponsor of the BD National Equissage Pulse Para Programme and Equissage Pulse Para Dressage Championships.

Open to 11 breeds native to Great Britain and part breds, this championship is a popular series for riders of these attractive ponies.

British Dressage is proud to present the Draught Horse Championships for a third year following its huge popularity in 2017. Riders of these majestic breeds will now have the opportunity to qualify for a prestigious championship hosted by Keysoe in Bedfordshire on Sunday 30 September 2018. 

Last weekend, the RAI Amsterdam set the scene for the sixth leg of the FEI World Cup™ Dressage 2017/2018 Western European League (26-27 January 2018). Defending World Cup Champions Isabell Werth and Weihegold OLD (GER) were victorious by a distance, though places down the line were a close-fought affair of dressage megastars.

Calling all Bronze and Music riders! British Dressage is delighted to announce that Bury Farm Equestrian Village in Buckinghamshire will be hosting the brand new Bronze and Music Championships on 24 – 27 August 2018.

In consultation with the show secretary, the following combinations have been given a wild card entry for this year’s Petplan Equine Area Festival Championships at the NAF Five Star Winter Championships, 11 – 15 April 2018. 

British Dressage and The David Broome Event Centre team met recently to develop a plan on how to best utilise the world-class Welsh venue in the regional and national dressage calendar going forward.

A number of vacancies are currently being recruited for both our technical and regional volunteer committees, offering an excellent opportunity for dressage enthusiasts to become involved in the policy decision-making and future direction of our sport.

The following riders have been selected to represent Great Britain at the FEI World Cup Dressage qualifier in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, 25 – 28 January 2018.
