With just over a week to go until the National Convention, in association with Harrison Clark Rickerbys, we’re excited to announce the rider line up for the weekend.

The second High Profile Show fixture in the BD calendar is hosted this week at Aintree International Equestrian Centre, Merseyside (28 – 31 October 2021), which promises four days of great action being brought live to subscribers by ClipMyHorse.TV. Running from today through to Sunday, the event sponsored by Knowsley Hall Private Stays has attracted many top riders from around the UK.

Following our annual general meeting on Tuesday 20 October, the minutes and a copy of the presentations are now available in pdf format. This year's meeting was livestreamed for the first time so members can 'watch again' via a link to You Tube.

Results of the riders who represented Great Britain at Exloo CDI3*/CDIU25 in the Netherlands (21 – 24 October 2021).

British riders were on top form at Le Mans CDI in France (14 – 17 October 2021). Mette Dahl and Emily Bradshaw were unbeaten, and Beth Bainbridge chalked up her first international win.

The Elite Equine Associated Championships celebrate the wide variety of horses training and competing with British Dressage by giving them the opportunity to compete against their contemporaries in an end of season finale. Following the Forces Equine Championship in September, the second of three contests took place at Vale View in Leicestershire (14 – 17 October 2021) where seventy-seven titles were awarded in the categories of Retraining of Racehorses, Thoroughbreds, Veteran Riders, Veteran Horses and CHAPS.

World Horse Welfare’s hugely popular series of webinars is set to return on Wednesday November 3 at 7pm for the winter season, after taking a break over the summer. The first webinar 'How does rider balance affect the horses' way of going' with Dr Russell MacKechnie-Guire tackling the important topic, something anyone who rides will want to find out more about.
