Chart Stables is one of the UK's largest and most trusted manufacturers of equestrian buildings.
Chart Stables was formed in 1994 and has grown to become one of the country’s largest manufacturers of equine timber buildings, supplying an impressive and extensive range of quality static and mobile stables, static and mobile field shelters, American barns and multi-purpose units.
The owners of Chart Stables are horse owners themselves and understand how important it is to have thoughtfully designed, practical and well-built stables. Their stables are built to withstand continued and sometimes heavy use but have ergonomic design & layout make daily chores much easier. Chart offer a bespoke design and build service, with planning support if required or a DIY service for those wishing to undertake the work themselves. Chart’s family of businesses also include arena building, fencing and out house construction.

Frank Baines Saddlery
Frack Baines Saddlery is a new and very welcome sponsors of the S&E region for 2025. Additionally, they offer the ability to customise your saddle to suit your specific requirements. By using the online ‘Build My Baines’ program, you can customise your desired saddle with different coloured materials, welts, stitching or even Swarovski crystals and other exotic materials.
Animals First
Jonathan Sage, founder of Animals First, gives an insight to how Animals First developed…
‘In 1999, we purchased a smallholding and started keeping rare/traditional breeds of poultry, turkeys, pigs, sheep and cattle. Over the next three years we tried multiple feed companies. We found that nothing ever changed in the breeding or health and condition of our animals. We then discovered GAVO feeds and found our stock actively flourished on their high-quality feed. Inspired by this success I was approached by PAVO about adding an Equine range to their already extensive array of feeds.
Following a meeting in the Netherlands, it was decided to take Pavo on. This was an exciting addition and started to grow alongside Garvo. Shortly after establishing Pavo in the UK, we were introduced to Hartog. We then began to import and stock Hartog feeds. Hartog are Europe’s largest grower and supplier of Lucerne and grasses they produce their own feed using natural ingredients.’
Now based in Buxhall, Suffolk Animals First stock premium equine brands Hartog, Pavo, Gavo and Van Gorp. These feed companies work to strict quality control guidelines and manufacture using the highest quality ingredients. All new feeds undergo a strict trial and testing before they are released to market, giving Animals First every confidence that they can supply the very best products for all types of equines, from ponies to competition horses and breeding stock.
Animals First also offers feeds for other animals including dogs, cats and poultry. Orders can be placed and collected from their HQ or shipped directly to your doorstep, with no minimum order required.
