The Under 25's Championships
One of the most exciting competitions at Sheepgate is the team and individual championships. To take part in these you’ll be selected by your region and competing at Prelim to Medium level and above. The Under 25 Championships are open to combinations who are 25 years and under. Full membership and horse registration are required to compete. Riders may take part until the end of the year of their 25th birthday.

Individual Championships
Please note that the Preliminary Individual Championship is only open to Bronze and Silver riders and combinations must be eligible at the close of entries. Email notifications will be sent, but entries can be made if you have the scores on your results - no need to wait, they will be verified upon entry.
Qualification
You can qualify for this great event from any regular BD show, take a look at our qualification table to start planning your route to next year’s event. There are sections for Bronze, Silver and Gold riders. You'll receive a qualification email once you've achieved your scores, to let you know about entering the Championships!

Team Competition
The team competitions run from Prelim to Elementary and is an open competition for those wanting to represent their region. Riders must ride the designated team test on both days of the team competition and be eligible to compete at their chosen level and rider/horse/pony/combination may only compete in one team at one level.
Team are selected by the regions with riders submitting their two best scores at the level they wish to compete at from the last 12 months. Scores from Quest/Regional Championships/Area Festivals may be used. Commanders and whips are permitted and ridden in a short arena.
