The Principles of Dressage Seminar returns for 2025 on 22 & 23 March at Hartpury University & College. Whether you're a judge, coach or rider, the 2025 Principles of Dressage will offer something for everyone.
Presented by Peter Storr, Clive Halsall & Gareth Hughes, the two days will focus on training focused sesions, with our aim to promote a collaborative approach for judges and coaches. Join us for an interactive weekend of live arena demonstrations and classroom sessions led by the three dressage experts, with more session speakers to be announced soon.
Meet the presenting team
Peter Storr
Peter Storr has been Judges Director on the BD Board since 2018. Dressage has been an intrinsic part of his life for over five decades and he's been fortunate to experience the sport at the elite level as a rider, trainer and judge which gives him an all-round perspective.
Clive Halsall
FEI 5* judge Clive Halsall has been part of panels worldwide at many a high profile international event, including the 2019 Senior European Championships. Clive is also a Coach Advisor to the U21 International pathway squad.
Gareth Hughes
Gareth has had great success in his career so far, including being member of the gold medal winning team at the 2023 FEI European Championships, member of the silver medal winning team at the 2014 and 2022 FEI World Championships and former National champion.
